オーストラリアでの海水浴（初級英語で読んでみよう）

今回はパパこんにゃくさんに、オーストラリアで海水浴する時に気を付けていただきたいことをレポートしていただこうと思います。　

主に、英語での記述となりますが、初級レベル英語とのことですので、ぜひ英語の勉強も兼ねて読んでいただければと思います。

Love the beach?

Most people in Australia do but there is one thing about swimming at the beach that all Australians know. Unfortunately, many visitors do not. 

Any ideas?

SWIM BETWEEN THE FLAGS. 旗の間に泳ぎましょう。

この赤と黄色の旗を意味しているのは、

「この範囲は安全で監視されているyo、困ってもだれか助けに行くyo」です。

At the beach there are many hazards, these include rips (激潮), strong water currents, jellyfish, and although very rare, sharks.

Most semi-popular beaches in Australia are patrolled by lifesavers, who are volunteers, or lifeguards, who are paid. These people will come to your rescue if you are in trouble. They are there to protect you. The lifesavers will indicate safe areas to swim with these flags. 

If you are in danger of drowning, you can raise your arms above your head to get the attention of those patrolling the beach. 旗の間にいると頭の上に手を振ったら誰かが助けに来れます。

There is a very high rate of tourists drowning at Australian beaches because they don't know about swimming between the flag.

Don't be a statistic!
